Korean and Japanese people will not be fooled by this. Instead, they will recognize it for what it is: An attempt by China's government to claim racial dominion over every East Asian person on Earth.

Off the top of my head, I know of only two other countries that have put themselves forward as the global masters of a particular racial group.
They both did it at the same time, and it didn't turn out well for either of them.

This is only an extension of current Chinese policy, which tries to claim global dominion over anyone of Chinese descent, using secret overseas "police stations".

China's government is positioning the country not as an ethnostate, as we traditionally think of it, but as a global empire whose dominion is all humans of a particular race.
So if you think they'll stop with Taiwan, think again.

At some point China could start invading neighboring countries to "protect asians" the way russia invaded to "protect russian speaking" despite the fact that russian speaking have nothing to do with russia and even russian ethnicity has nothing to do with russia or ru citizenship
Very true; CCP had an internal "we have to get past Han-first racialism" movement in the late 40's...right before they decided their neighbors were all of their own race, deserving "liberation"
