It is bad but also objectively kind of hilarious that the governor of Wisconsin is accorded this power.
Loving the many quote tweets from people around the world who can’t believe Wisconsin is real
If you want to know how the legislature got into a condition that inspires the gov to act this way, it's all in my book
Before everyone gets in a tizzy over our Governor, do 5 minutes of Google searching and learn about our gerrymandered legislature and how they removed most of his powers in a secret late night session before he took office.
Are you saying it's bad that the legislator took power from 1 guy and gave it back to the people who were supposed to have it?

Minor correction, he vetoed a few words, but arguably vetoing a single space is unconstitutional. Arguably
And i thought this season of the Pennsylvania State Budget negotiations was wild!
I remember when Tommy implemented similar veto shenanigans in the late 1980s, early 1990s. Courts backed him up if memory serves. I also remember the ensuing and classic Green Bay Press Gazette "Thompson's pen is a sword" headline with a missing space between a couple key words.
Tony Evers using his teacher powers for good! I'm so happy I voted for him.
It's ok to simultaneously think this is hilarious, while also hating the fact he can do this, while also thinking its double hilarious Republicans pushed for this feature. Wisconsin politics in a GD nutshell.
