and that was a seattle with 250k fewer people too. cars as a primary mode didnt work for seattle at 530k then and they dont work at 780k today

I'm still astonished how what's regarded by many as the most advanced country in the world is still stuck on transportation methods from around 60 years ago.
Simply, revise planning to have compact living communities with everything available on foot, by bike & shuttle. On the Rail route to other speciality centres. Mini cars for hire when going off main public transport routes. Grow sustainable food & energy at every living community
