There's a mountain of evidence that folks who exercise have better health outcomes. What I like about this study is that they randomized who did the exercise to show that the effect is causal.

This is amazing: the first large, randomized trial to show that exercise improves survival after cancer The benefit from the exercise program was like adding another cancer drug - without the side-effects

Of course. Who could possibly argue with the health and aging benefits of exercise? And the same applies to a regular 8 hours sleep a night and staying slim. It's a no brainer.
Nice. But if exercise causes health, why do we still treat it like optional extra credit rather than daily survival skill?
