Incredible to see multiple tweets on this topic next to each other. One guy says "the problem is the North American Free Trade Agreement" and the next person (more accurately) goes "we are in the throes of a gooning crisis"

People don’t like effort or responsibility, especially the young, which is a big part of why the “it’s not your fault” right has been so attractive to young men.
Unironically, it’d be probably better for society if more people were taking risk and that includes casual sex. Much better than alcohol. That’s for sure.
The last word in this paragraph made me look up "gooning" on Urban Dictionary. I don't think I've ever encountered this amount of flowery prose about male genitalia before

Part of the problem here is hypergamy resulting from dating app incentives. A small percentage of high status men are hooking up and not settling down with a larger percentage of women, and an even larger percentage of young men are struggling due to hypergamy dynamics.
