All these environmental regulations have their impact undone in about five minutes of Chinese coal burning. Just two completely different scales.

"Climate justice" are like watermelons. Green environmentalists on the outside, but red communists on the inside.

Common story. Why should a community that doesn't want a bike path in their midst be forced to accept it? Especially when, unlike a freeway, there's no eminent domain going on and there's basically no benefit to the public except for a climate action plan checkbox somewhere.
