I didn't need CDC reports to know my local hospital was getting slammed at start of covid. my wife is a critical care nurse who works on a ventilator ward. hell they called her in tonight for an extra shift because this is a bad flu season as it is.

NIH funded (well I was) scientist working on covid here-i have always and plan to continue making my data public. Check out preprint servers like Medrxiv, lots of big name researchers put their findings online free to the public
I think we need as many govt people (esp. if fired) to publish anything they can to keep the people informed, and to preserve data. If it is sensitive data, hide it somewhere. This is like fahrenheit 451 with memorizing books
After 5 years of successfully and painstakingly avoiding COVID, explicitly waiting for this nasal vaccine to give me some of my pre-pandemic life back, I don’t know how not to be depressed about this prospect.

I have an immunocompromised husband and have been waiting for next gen nasal spray vaccines. Is Canada also working on them? I can’t imagine wearing an N95 in public forever.

What RFK doesn’t make clear is that this is a trial of a new vaccination delivery method. The advantage of nasal application v subdermal injection is significant.
The big picture here is the ability to revolutionise vaccine delivery - but of course he’s anti-vax.

The great irony is his boosters constantly insist that “globalists” want to reduce the population. So to avoid that they elect a guy who has already shrunk the population of their own country by at least a million people by botching the covid response.
I had that same thought. I’m at least near the Canadian border, if they aren’t turning us back at that point.
This is a 90 day pause, ostensibly to look over the data again before the vaccine trial can proceed.
This is a yellow flag. Hopefully the work continues in May. Not that I would count on it.
