That's like the most badass statement a filmmaker could make, and I think about it every so often even though I've still only seen Jeanne Dielman (which is an exemplary case-in-point for her).
i dunno, i found her one movie pretty engaging all the way through. didn't feel long at all! the ups and downs and all the little details were great.
