When working with models on 3d scenes there tends to be a natural stopping point where I don't feel like pushing the model further, even though I know the model can do better. The returns on more time diminish sharply.
With Astra, that natural stopping point feels much further
Opus 5.5 seems to be a substantial generation behind Astra at 3D scenes with references, and simultaneously a substantial generation ahead of Astra on UI.
Detail at that cost only pays if the scene survives being changed. And someone always wants something moved after they see it. Warmer lights... camera a bit further left. so can you open this one up and change things yourself, or is it 400 hours again?
Almost 20 full days of coding and it looks like computer graphics rather than photorealistic?
No thank you!
Do u have any idea how much Astra could have accomplished in that time? Guys developed an 80,000 year space plan in a week!
