I think he really wants like Gary Indiana to be the Mecca of steel …again and that’s what I believe a lot of the steel tariffs are due with right now—he should talk about that more instead of coal lmao
It’s as if they don’t realize the complexity and interrelatedness of companies and industries. Raise tariffs on steel, prices on oil tubular goods increase, input costs for domestic and export products increase, sell fewer as customers choose others or do w/o, economy slows.
Did you think oil execs would be happy about anticipated cost increases? Funny enough, my local gas stations have gone way down in price over the last month after being told they will raise immediately.
