Well, that's pushing it a bit. RFK Jr. is going to kill people. Lots of people. Nimby planners make housing more expensive which is terrible, but not on the scale of kids dying from measles terrible

Look at it from the demand side. Conservative electeds/staff constantly need a fresh supply of supply-skeptical chum they can muddy the water with, in order to further an agenda of minimal personal disruption (TBH, the vaccine stuff is the same way. Look at Trump and Warp Speed.)
