I don't think most people really know what any of these candidates really represent at this point so it's too early. They know what they don't want but they don't know what they want.
Isn’t the previous election’s candidate *always* leading the polls 2.5 years out? Most voters aren’t that online and she’s the one they remember.
A vast majority of voters haven't thought about 2028 at all, so they just say whatever name they recognize.
Nate, I don’t care what polls say 2 years out there is no way the Democrats are going to nominate a black woman for President in 2028. They have to win this election and Harris has to much baggage.
Newsom would be a good senator for life in CA. He won’t win the presidency. It would definitely be nice to have him around, though.
