Last Thursday, U.S. District Judge Amir Ali wrote in a filing in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia that the Trump administration must unfreeze foreign assistance payments to USAID and State Department grantees.
The Trump admin's response, filed by Pete Marocco, the new Director of the Office of Foreign Assistance at State, states that the administration will continue its freeze on funds for both USAID and State:

How can they resume funding if payment systems might have been fed to the "wood chipper?" Maybe there is no way for the payments to be resumed because the infrastructure is gone.

And so the crisis continues. Just days ago he said he would obey court orders. That was so "then". My prediction: even if the SC rules against him, he will ignore it. He is angling for total power.

If the President doesn't abide by rules, then no one else needs needs to abide by laws in this country.

the Judge needs to charge 'm with contempt, let the SJC decide: 12-31 Roberts said: “elected officials from across the political spectrum have raised the specter of open disregard for federal court rulings…These dangerous suggestions, however sporadic, must be soundly rejected.”
The judges need to start issuing warrants for those that are non compliant to their rulings.
