It’s definitely funny and Elon’s crash out tweets are great, but unless he goes beyond posting not sure it’s all that bad that for Trump

Republicans were the only ones who approved of Elon at this point. Is him tweeting mean things about the admin gonna move the needle? Or is he gonna like spend money or do something really unexpected

Time will tell how much Elon's influence really matters, but he does still have influence over the specific world of the tech right. It's not a lot of the public, but it is a lot of powerful people who are involved with the admin. That world even includes the Vice President!

it's much worse for the congressional gop, who were very much banking on elonbuxx (+ broader tech/crypto right) to make up the gap with what's gonna be a dem small dollar tsunami. also gives deficit hawks huge amounts of ammo re BBB, which could mean something (but prob won't)
