Filmed this as the sun continued to rise over LA. These were not edited.
The Palisades and Eaton Fires are 0% contained, the Hearst Fire is 10% contained, the Lydia Fire is 40% contained, and the Sunset Fire is 0% contained. Overall, the majority of wildfires in the Los Angeles area are still largely uncontained.
The sunset fire was put out last night - not sure where you get this information from

Once a wildfire came within a mile or two of my home. I tried taking pictures and videos of the orange-red sky and my phone would automatically adjust the color balance to downplay how apocalyptic it looked, IRL it was very similar to this

The air would be tough to breath with particles, ash and smoke.
Not good for anyone, especially the elderly and the kids.
Is the govt taking action for mitigation?
Possibly spraying water or something to settle the air?

We see this in the PNW about every 3 to 5 years. We have firefighters that come from all over the country. Every police force, fire department and prison system bands together and fights. Even the men and women who work at the lumber mills, stop working and join the fight.
