can you connect those dots for me? was the FAA chief personally involved in the air traffic control?
There were 1,017 non-fatal and 199 fatal plane crashes in 2023. An average of more than 2 fatal plane crashes each week. They happen all the time, you just don't hear about them.
Shame on you Yglesias for promoting this nonsense. Just disgusting
They turned away White applicants who got perfect score on the tests cuz' they wanted DEI/mentally disabled in those roles. It's literally in writing

This is terrifying.
11 days ago the FAA Chief was forced out by the Trump Admin and now this is the second plane crash in two days. x.com/foxnews/status…
This has nothing to do with Trump. He wasn't personally controlling air traffic. It's like blaming Uber CEO because some Uber driver crashed his car.
JFC, you're pathetic.
This had nothing to do with the FAA.
This was a small plane crashing due to a mechanical failure
You don't even know why this plane crashed. Crashing while taking off is mostly due to frozen wings, flaps and therefore stalling
The aircraft is Mexican registered. (XA). It would not have fallen under FAA jurisdiction for maintenance and the like.
Can you explain the causality that is terrifying you? I am having difficulty linking them.
It is spectacularly disingenuous to suggest that those things are related, you partisan ghoul
The FAA Chief was forced out because he staffed the FAA with incompetent people in the name of diversity and this tragedy is the result of it.
I’ll just leave this here for u absolute F’ing morons

After last night, every person who has or will ever board a plane, should watch this and think before they EVER vote Democrat again
Now people are dead x.com/batonrouge_1/s…
we about 10 days out of Bootyjudge's four years...
It will take time to fix the damage the Democrats have done.
Are you so dumb you belive the FAA administrator is personally directing plane traffic or so immoral that you think this terrible tragedy is a useful political tool?
Are you saying this is cosmic justice for firing?
How is either crash impacted by firings?
Leave the baseless speculation and finger pointing to MAGA and Trump. Let’s find out what happened before suggesting links between these tragedies and the ousting of the FAA chief Michael Whitaker. Don’t be like Trump.
FAA chair is a policy wonk. He couldn’t prevent the plane crash if he was still in his job. Intellectually dishonest tweet.
Are you fucking retarded? what does an ousted FAA chief have to do with this?
Do FAA Chiefs magically keep planes in the air with their minds?
Dumb ass
