For the same reason that Musk bought Twitter just 49 days after Putin invaded Ukraine. The U.S. didn’t “elect” Trump, we have the data at ., he barely earned 30% of the vote. 🧵It gets worse:👇🏽 x.com/thiswillhold/s

🧵Musk's partnership w/U.S. election security company, and the Nov 5 election This began in 2022 as "digging," when Musk launched his bid to purchase Twitter at $20B over value, just 49 days after Putin invaded Ukraine. A convo re NATO invoking Article 5 over Cyber warfare
Elon Musk's tweet about Ukraine and Russia just shows how disconnected he is. He's part of the push to give Russia what it wants😩ignoring the suffering of Ukraine. Trump wants to be the “savior,” but he’s willing to sell out Ukraine to make peace with Putin? It’s not peace, it’s

I am wondering why no one is rising the question that by calling for Ukraine to surrender any territory or a sovereign right to join any Alliances, the US is violating the Budapest Memorandum #1 where it signed to respect its sovereignty?

It’s not only Musk but all the MAGA leaders and trolls on X parroting this and also escalating the anti-Zelensky and surrender narrative. They are laying a foundation to excuse their coming plan.
Defending yourself is wrong. Elon had to take an oath to defend America to become a US citizen. I've heard him say that he would pick up arms to fight for America if it was attacked. He criticizes Ukraine for doing what he claims he would do for his adopted country.

Musk and people like him can't stand the fact that Zhelesnki is strong AND liked and that the Ukrainian people will not bow down. Also he is not used to anyone saying "no" to him, that makes him angry as well.

Elon Musk admitting that Ukraine has turned the tables. Which explains a lot on why Putin is pushing for a ceasefire. #Ukraine #Russia ⬇️

They can't control this. They're used to getting their way quickly. Diplomacy is quite complex and tricky. "Forcing it" can backfire. They're learning that now. In their mind, Zelensky stands in the way of the "quick win" they want. So they just increase the volume.

Not surrender but be realistic about how this is going to end. The war needs to end not expand.

Dear Elon. If Ukrainians leave the trenches, the Russians move further in and kill them and r@pe and torture their mothers wives and daughters on the next day. Right after announcing on all media that "any reports of our plans to invade and torture Ukrainians are laughable."

You do need to ask the question…why has nobody, from before this war started and Russia sent so many signals of its intentions, until now, nobody tried talking to Putin? Not Zelenskyy not Biden not Macron not anyone. Yet the west happily drip fed enough supplies to sustain

Dunno. Does he see some profit in appeasing us into ww3? Doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
What could be the reason behind Trumps and Elons recent attacks on Zelenskyy? I think it has somerhing to do with the Riyadh talks. Russia likely demanded regime change for peace, they want Zelenskyy out, replaced by
Trump needs the sound bite: “I ended the war in Ukraine, saved X billion to the US people and Russia is a friend”. However, he will not talk about the terms and conditions of surrender which will destroy Ukraine in other ways and place a threat on NATO. It’s “peace-washing”
