This was reflected in J6 as an issue. Many Dems were happier to talk about it than do something. Led a lot of voters to conclude it was all political noise - how bad could it be if it took so long to prosecute so underwhelmingly. Ditto second impeachment. Gotta act, not talk.

In 2016 a lot of Sanders supporters thought a Trump victory, and the ensuing disaster, would usher in their socialist utopia... and many still believe he'd have beat Trump in 2016. They don't get just how unpopular their ideas are with most people.

Wrong! The Dem party has many wolf packs that often come together to form a mega wolf pack that pushes out GOP. At other times they compete with each other and lose to GOP. If you are smart you want to enable quick mobilization of the mega wolf pack.

This is my great frustration with the democrats. They talk about fascism but aren't willing to make policy concessions to appeal to more people which makes the talk seem insincere. Trump is bad! Make the damn policy concessions!
