One thing that most people are missing in the group text scandal: The Trump officials don’t appear clear on what *exactly* Trump approved, which is a huge problem in using military force. Stephen Miller says “as I heard it … green light.” 😱😬 www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/six-short-...

Well then, of course there’s the glaring problem that Trump won’t even acknowledge he signed it.
“ wasn’t me. I don’t know how my signature got there.”
People that voted for Trump must be very proud right now .
It sounds like no one is in control of this administration.
Trump does not seem to know what, if anything, he approved.
The NYT mentions this but doesn’t really dwell on it. Seems like it should be a bigger part of the story. Indeed, there is a much larger story being ignored: Trump generally seems to have very little idea of what’s going on in his admin.
He's mentally impaired.
Multiple examples from the campaign speeches
Stupid men playing warlords. It definitely endangers American lives.
You ask "where are the Democrats?"
Doing their job:
"Democratic Representative Pat Ryan of New York wrote on X, formerly Twitter: "Only one word for this: FUBAR. If House Republicans won't hold a hearing on how this happened IMMEDIATELY, I'll do it my damn self."

The story about Kash Patel's lie in 2020 that very nearly got Seal Team 6 killed – an incomprehensible lie no one can explain – which also happens to be from a piece in The Atlantic is a crystal-clear indication of who these people are. www.theatlantic.com/magazine/arc...
let’s let more folks read this by summoning
It’s pretty clear Trump is not in charge anymore because he was not in on the chat….. is that because he’s mentally unfit to continue? ….. so who exactly is in charge now? Has someone checked on Trump?….. seems to be confused a lot lately about the law, what he’s signed, if he used the auto pen etc
And all that, at a time when Bondi is trying to claim that "the Court lacks competence" to address national security concerns.
Um, the competence bar is pretty dang LOW.
What really strikes me is that Trump is entirely disengaged here. Isn't he supposed to be Commander in Chief? But no, he has outsourced everything except sitting behind the Resolute Desk and waving sharpies in the air to the least accomplished, most criminal, and most incompetent crew of sadists.
He was very busy critiquing and whining on truth social about a portrait of himself that was hung in Colorado 6 years ago. And also insulting the artist.
Where is Stephen Miller in the chain of command?
Cause it doesn't sound like Trump is making the call.
Also doesn't recall signing the EO on the Alien Act.
Dopey Don needs to go.
He probably can't remember more than a handful of Executive Orders that he has signed.
What we are witnessing is elder abuse. Those around him are taking advantage of him for their own purposes.
Trump sold himself to his donors. Now he thinks he is just delegating but he's outsourcing authority.
It appears that he should be in an asylum of some kind for the criminally insane.
Stephen Miller hears everything as a green light for anything up to and including global thermonuclear war. As long as he has a vault to survive in with Elon Musk’s harem.
He’s maybe not the most ideal source.
It must grow tiresome and cause these people great internal shame to realize their job amounts to constantly praising their boss who is, tragically, lacking a positive self-image.
Glad you pointed that out. I noticed it too. Like, it wasn't, Felon47 said go on Yemen. It was a bunch of whining and "we think this is what he wants."
What I know Felon47 wants, is to not be president. He just wants to grift and golf.
Trump was also unaware that Musk was going to be briefed about plans for a hypothetical war with China.
Hegseth’s on quite a roll.
So… who did Hegseth think he was texting? When he put Goldberg in?
Waltz put Goldberg in, but Pete messaged the plans.
Doesn't that mean he had them stored on his unsecured device?
They both need to go.
But who did Waltz think he was putting in the group chat?? They didn’t notice another name in there?
Good point. So much to be shocked and alarmed at regarding this entire deal.
On point. As you say, where is the outrage? The meekness of the Dems is utterly perplexing.
Need to change that headline. "The Most Insane Trump Story of All Time" so far.
Not going to lie, I just take it for granted that this admin is not a well oiled machine. They have a boss with not only a small attention span but an enormous need for attention so his priorities are not tending to the small stuff.
Can you imagine anybody explaining any policy or plan minutiae to Trump knowing how he loathes talking for long about anything that doesn't come back as fast as possible to talking about how it makes him look great.
The rapist felon conman traitor criminal was never aware or calling the shots the first time around. That was Kushner, Ivanka and Nazi Miller. He truly is a puppet.
Trump only hires dipshits dumber than him and he is the stupidest bastard to ever be elected President. Not once, but twice by the White Nationalists and ignorant hillbillies in this country.
This PA🔵Dem is doing his part! Just emailed my Members of Congress on this scandal! Hegseth must resign! We need Congressional investigations NOW!
. I urge you and all Democrats to follow the advice of Mr Graff. Where is the outrage? Where are the calls for resignations or actions to impeach these incompetent and dangerous officials. This is a major breach of operational security. Please join the action in response.
That’s because there is no tRump “strategy” for ANYTHING. These guys classically manipulate the narcissist. They plot what THEY want to do, spoon feed him ideas they imply are his, then implement what THEY want (very very badly)
