Trump is responsible for abortion bans and even though he’s a little sheepish about it he’s fundamentally proud of the justices who did it and wants to appoint more like-minded people to run everything.

Fox just shared a few clips from the Trump town hall with Georgia women (that's airing tomorrow at 11am ET). Here's what Trump told a woman named Pamela who asked about abortion: "Why is the government involved in women's basic rights?"

It’s a completely illogical explanation also like we don’t think the federal government should be making the decision. We think the state government should be! Why not the local county? Why not let only your next-door neighbors vote on whether or not you should be allowed?
Also once again he tries to sell people on a lie by inventing imaginary people he can use to go "People are saying that im right". Like for once someone ask him to name any of those people he makes up he did this dozens of times as president.
Were Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, Truman and JFK responsible for the State abortion bans during their presidencies? Because they didn't make abortion a Federal issue? Because it's not?
You can tell from his response he has a very particular group of people around him on abortion, because he clearly has no clue what any pro-lifer, or normal people think. That states rights line is a very specific set of people in the GOP who used it as a cover.
So having 5 people decide complex moral issues for a diverse society of 350 million people is good, as long as you like the results.
Um, the Justices didn't impose any abortion bans. They left it up to the states to decide the issue which is exactly as it should be. Yes, I hope he appoints more like-minded people who will allow the democratic process to work on this issue instead of unelected judges.
