I’m a big believer in the future of self-driving cars, but is this taking into account the differences in routes being driven? Doesn’t waymo avoid high speed highway driving that leads to most damages and injuries?

You shouldn't even use the word perfect it will be held against as an impossible standard. Ridiculously safer than humans is all you need
