You think Rs are finally realizing that their voters are the low turnout voters now?
Yeah, because the DFL is sooo concerned about voter ID.
The voter ID wildly expanded drop in mail ballots that don’t require ID.
It’s political theater, and you fell for it
is this true or was there more to this bill than they are saying.
The claim about Nevada's GOP Governor vetoing a voter ID bill is true. The bill, AB499, passed by Democrats on June 3, 2025, required photo ID at polls but was a compromise also expanding mail ballot drop boxes. Governor Lombardo vetoed it on June 12, citing weak mail
They don’t care about fixing problems. They just want to make sure there are problems they can campaign on.
Bc the bill was a compromise bill and on the ballot will be voter ID that will likely pass

Gov. Joe Lombardo has vetoed the bill that would have required voter ID in Nevada elections starting next year, despite the proposal appearing to be part of a deal he struck with legislative Democrats.

I say end these voter ID wars by making it state*funded and facilitated easily for the poor and elderly.
There’s a decent argument that Dems should embrace voter ID, given the changing nature of their coalition. Better yet, maybe you can trade “support” for something else you want.
Because it required ID for in person voting but only a signature for mail in.
I wish I had this when people were confused about it passing in Wisconsin so easily
And now we all know which side is actually the ones fraudulently voting!!
Bill did not include mail-in ballots; which was a deliberate poison pill. GOP likes to vote in person so this would put them at disadvantage.
Wait wtf...........a REPUBLICAN governor vetoed a voter ID bill

There MUST have been something dems stuck in it thinking as usual a Republican wouldn't read what he was signing!!!!
technically when you consider their philosophies this makes sense in an ignore the past forty years sense
meh. This is a really weird state. I don't think it gives anyone an advantage. Waiting for Ralston, as always
