IIRC They do have a dent test but it’s because Japan cares about pedestrians, unlike America, so denting is good, American safety regulations only care about the people in the car and not about anyone else

Trump is correct. Japan and Europe both require headform impact testing as a pedestrian safety regulation.
Do what every other country has done, agree not to do it and then leverage it to your advantage.
As suggested at the end, this is one of the few easily solvable problems with Trump as this zoolander clip shows.
