What it’s like to negotiate with Trump. He claims the Japanese test cars by dropping bowling balls on them and seeing if they get dents. “Japanese negotiators are apparently struggling with how to address this demand since there is no such test.”

IIRC They do have a dent test but it’s because Japan cares about pedestrians, unlike America, so denting is good, American safety regulations only care about the people in the car and not about anyone else
Japanese negotiators need to understand that nobody involved gives an actual shot about American automakers or addressing trade imbalance. It's all "make clown feel good"
Geopolitics via online brainpoison. Social media is to America what opium was to Qing China. Our Century of Humiliation has begun
I mean, this particular example seems easy. You loudly & proudly announce you have dropped this requirement, pass a fucking constitutional amendment prohibiting it until the end of time, Trump hangs a "mission accomplished" banner in front of the WH, and we all go about our lives
Just like when you interview him and he switches direction so many times and never answers any question that the interview just dissolves in chaos. Just what he wants.
Sounds like he watched too many Warner bros cartoons... Next he will ask for EU, or UK, or whoever for that matter, to stop stimulating ACME factories because they are making faulty machines used by American consumers...
lol dealing with trump is literally impossible since he makes things up and changes any details he feels like whenever he feels like. It’s amazing how MAGA lost their minds over Biden yet trump says outlandish false things multiple times a day and they herald him as a genious
Do what every other country has done, agree not to do it and then leverage it to your advantage.
