Another banger from : 1) turnout wasn't the main problem for Harris 2) turnout and persuasion are correlated, so the turnout problem is a persuasion one too 3) non-voters -- even registered Dems -- were significantly more pro Trump than similar voters

This feels potato/potahto? If you hear "turnout" and only think "supporters didn't bother to vote" then sure. If you also hear "lost support among the base," it is the same thing. Not just correlated, but literally the same problem. Democrats lost their base. Why?
