Another air pollution and cognition paper.
Doubtless some publication bias in this literature, but it's a very extensive literature at this point.

Might an alternative hypothesis be that increased traffic density causes both an increase in fatal car collisions and an increase in air pollution?
Are we sure we have the causality direction correct? You'd need a controlled experiment to determine causation.
Thanks, Matt. We know that exposure to air pollution has contemporaneous effects on violent crime as well. It’s wild. Much innovation can take place in infrastructure, including testing use of air filters in public schools, housing and jails.
When you write unique literature, which doesn't fit into a traditional genre, you do worry that people won't "Get it".
So I'm chuffed to bits to say that Lisa loves my latest novel, "Other Worlds Were Possible", even though it's NOT the type of book she normally reads...
Aren’t air pollution levels highly correlated to, you know, more cars on the road? How could you even control for that?

Demanding Senate Republicans back Gaetz as attorney general and Hegseth as Defense Secretary is the 2024 version of forcing Sean Spicer to say it was the largest inauguration crowd ever.
These aren't just appointments. They're loyalty tests. The absurdity is the point.
"Matt Gaetz? The guy who wrote an amicus brief supporting the FTC's noncompete ban?"

Matt Gaetz wrote an amicus brief supporting the FTC’s noncompete ban. He’s a genuine populist on antitrust, arbitration agreements, and corporate power. x.com/TheStalwart/st…
It hurts to see people misunderstand reality so terribly. For all his faults—and they were many—Joe Biden will go down in history as the greatest oil trader of all time
I get called a secret Republican all day long on here because I think building houses should be legal but somehow these dipshits continue to be in good standing on The Left
