Good morning with good news: India meets 50% RE & nuclear capacity target 5 years early! As clean capacity deploys, clean electricity production surges. Solar was 5 TWh in 2014; 48 TWh in 2019 & 137 TWh in 2024! Hydro was 157 TWh; wind 82 TWh; nuclear 55 TWh in 2024.

India's solar jumping from 5 TWh to 137 TWh in a decade is the kind of quiet acceleration that hopefully pulls everyone else along 💪
The "good news" that isn't!! There you go talking "Capacity" again! Talk about misdirection. You can not compare renewable capacity to hydrocarbon capacity because the Net Generation is so radically different Here is India's electricity generation up to the end of 2024. Your

For people who are bad at simple analytical reasoning. No where does the post say that coal production is decreasing. The rate of increase of renewable is a lot more so as a percentage of installed capacity this is 100 percent true. Here is the proof.

Will need batteries to stabilize night time requirement. Reliance battery giga factory will start next June. It'll go up after sodium batteries start rolling out.
Wow, India's clean energy milestone is incredible! Reaching 50% capacity early really sets a benchmark in renewable commitment. Such progress is truly inspiring!
