Taiwan has to decide if they want to defend their own island or not. If they don't form a home guard and get guns/equipment into the hands of their civilians then they aren't serious about their own defense.
Weโve had troops on the deck training a Taiwanese Home Guard for quite some time. Itโs been something of an open secret.
