People who just know about Elon from second hand accounts often don't know that he often does admit stuff. He's retarded, but he will regularly have moments of earnestness like this.
Lacked empathy? What is he talking about. Wasn't the idea there to "cut spending" .. this wasn't a feed the children charity telethon 😅
IT’s ALL about optics, and that’s why when Milei did it, it worked! Argentinians are DRAMATIC in extremis whereas Americans not so much. It worked well for Milei when he was making his cuts and Elon thought it would work in the U.S.A. As well . . .but not so much.
do we actually believe this/him though Emily? Like I know we can only take him at his word, but it seems like he's just changing his tune so he can start his campaign into his third new party or back over to democrats If the "America Party" falters. Do we really believe Elon
This “admission “ said about he has a great heart. You can never get this reflection from Trump or Biden
Now he needs to admit to having bloodshot eyes on stage and acting a fool. He can say all he wants but he was high as a kite and he knew it. That's why he wore those shades. He also needs to take back his comments about social security, many seniors depend upon that program
Nobody remembers the dems with the chainsaws. There was even a bipartisan Chainsaw Committee in Congress for a while in the 90s.
It was called the ‘Chainsaw on Bureaucracy’ but I can see how people might have understood it differently. This is a really sincere and humble response. Thank you for sharing this post.
'lacked emapthy' is meaningless. His embracing the desire to cut deeply was fine. His excitement was fine. The deeply entrenched politics that prevented efficacy on cutting deep into the fraud and waste is not. I don't get the 'lacked empathy' comment.
GDP in Argentina is 7.7% this quarter. Because Milliei cut the government budget by 30%. Congress should have taken the chainsaw and ran with it.
I wish him and others in power would do this more instead of just rushing to the next soundbite
I fail to see what is even remotely significant about this. Do you seriously believe that without this one photo op anything in the following months would have been different? I do not.
“Chainsaws lack empathy” is a great illustration of the foundational problem with most policy stances of the fringe right and left
Milei ran his entire campaign with a chainsaw, and every conservative admired Milei A chainsaw at CPAC was really meant to be kind of symbolic because of Milei’s presence, but the media wanted to have their own narrative, obviously. That was as vicious and idiotic as attacking
I think that was great. They are cutting actual spending. I don’t give a crap about budgets.
The Debt ceiling is an Illusion, it is not real because they know that they can just keep moving the bar higher and higher. It is all talk, smoke and mirrors to make us THINK that something is actually happening toward progress. When it is Not.
It was pure excitement and Milei seems to genuinely respect Elon Musk and vice versa. Breath that’s all, it’s all good ✨♥️
Our country is on the precipice of bankruptcy that could cause a catastrophe for the ages and we get journalists dog-piling on how optics could have been more empathetic. How about: "Thank you for trying to save our civilization."
Naw, he failed because our goverment is broken. If being autistic and weird were the cause, he wouldn't have the longest line of giant success in the history of the world.
Nah the chainsaw was dope, he’s just being reasonable and showing he sees people perspectives.

Milei believes to never give an inch to socialists, in that he is spot on, and explains the chainsaw.
The chainsaw was the end. But mostly the sunglasses and gold chain meme. Normal people didn't know it was a meme joke, and it looked bad.
Let Elon have some fun - he did not have a childhood and his adulthood has been a sheer wall of intense work. Chainsaws are fun - let him enjoy a moment of his tortured life.
Trump is an elected president dealing with a representative republic form of government. Musk is a CEO who tells people what to do, or fires them.
Musk will regret this for rest of his life

His efforts here were the most popular of the administration. Everything has been down hill from here. Orchestrated mostly by the media's control over Trump when they pushed the President Elon shit.
Empathy for an ENTIRE CLASS OF PEOPLE (parasites) that only get to live... because theY STEAL FROM FELLOW COUNTRYMEN... screw that noise - there SHOULD HAVE BEEN A HUNDRED CHAINSAWS ON THAT STAGE
It’s so funny how the implication here is Elon tried to use Milei’s political ideals to hijack Trump. Would’ve been far easier to just do this sort of thing from the left. Trump hates foreign labor like yes even high skill labor, foreign trade, and he just seeks to protect
Mmm, well, okay.

And just like that, all of the sudden, Elon Musk is again the good guy. Memory is, unfortunately, a short-lived entity. Neurons subjected to propaganda, are, unfortunately, eternal entities. x.com/YourAnonCentra…
