Yes, competition is the best way to provide consumers the highest quality, best prices, and superior service. As soon as the government limits anything, all three begin to erode.
The Apple approach is fatally flawed and will fail. The geosynchronous satellites will have unacceptably high latency.
Then Apple should go and launch them from the EU countries or Asia or wherever there are friendly governments happy to compete with Musk and America. Shouldn't be hard to do. Satellites can launch from anywhere, then orbit.
Watching the GOP reject Woke Adam Smith and David Ricardo to embrace old-school mercantilism has been one of the wildest reactionary swings I can recall.
This is a good point. I was always interested in Starlink but its expensive and I can't justify the price. Competition would help with this. Not sure though if the spectrum rights are so limited that its a natural monopoly type situation, which would be unfortunate.
Yet people thought Musk was cutting fraud. Musk is trying to cut out the competition. Does Verizon still have the FAA contract.
why so they can make better products in china? no company on earth deserves tariffs more than Apple
