starting to think this guy's missed calling was student body president grocery stores were like the free vending machines. what's next, maybe he will host a mixer? he honestly should people would love it
They both have teams that know how to create cringe social media content that appeals to morons. Appealing to morons is unfortunately a sound political play
Well first off, the scandal isn't actually his opponent's. Little known fact is one of his often reposted tweets about how queer liberation means defunding the police references the very same reporter who was handed the bag of chips.

Because he and Newsom both understand that the “we go high when they go low” thing is stupid and voters respond well to trolling and fighting back
He hires good people and is young enough that he's plugged into culture, but not terminally online. It's one reason that I'm cautiously optimistic about him as mayor, at least compared to the alternatives
Too bad his supporters can't be reasoned with. I have had conversations with PhDs who view any criticism of him as an endorsement of genocide. It's impossible to discuss policy with these people. NYC is in such good shape, he can't do much damage, but his supporters are unhinged.
I think Millenials like and are very good at various games that waste time, that they find “fun” and “quirky”. It’s a non-important thing, so of course millenials focus on it.
good at political messaging doesn't equal good at governing. if it did, we wouldn't have the highest tariffs in a century...
I think people really are yearning to just have some fucking fun and enjoy the place where they live. I hope he wins and does a good job in NYC.
Honestly the biggest delta I've ever had in my personal assessment of how likely I would be to vote for someone and "damn that's a good politician"
