Here’s what doesn’t get. There are disgruntled Dems in swing districts/purple states, still registered but now swing voters who are angry at their party & feel homeless. The relatively few far left D’s in these districts/states are too few to propel Dem wins.

I am not crazy about Newsom, but he he is an acceptable candidate. If Newsom polls ahead of Harris (a well-known candidate), I doubt that she could catch up (it is a different case with lesser known figures).
If Newsom is the front-runner for 2028, I’m considering the news media coverage of California to be an absolute failure. This guy has damaged our state and hopefully we will get a really good governor to help repair it.
Manchin did everything he could to essentially hinder progress, didn't he? He and Sinema were literally spoilers. Why would we vote for someone who does that?
