Looks really good. I don’t see any errors like the other commenters, but I do think the board needs to be rotated 90 degrees because this is suggesting Fischer is sitting behind the clock.
installs software, recalls a 70-year-old chess game, models the exact board position. totally normal Tuesday.
Heh the location of the pieces on the board is “off by 90°”
someone's going to ask it to render the whole game move by move next and it's going to just do it

Nice.. some time ago I had made a text version of this move like context engineering it for LLMs (the ascii board in the tooltip of the Liveclip MCP table response)

how on earth did it do this? did it install blender in its own environment and then spit out a downloadable blender file?
30 minutes to understand chess history, install 3D software, and render it at that fidelity. a decade ago that would've required a 3D artist and a chess historian in the same room. now one model does both, and nobody blinks.
the telling failure in the turn-one version isn't chess logic, it's a captured piece rendered mid-air instead of off the board. 'what happened in the game' vs 'where do objects go now' is usually where these builds break, and here it broke on physics, not game state.
Great use case — so could we soon have GPT + Blender quickly recreate a historical event? As long as the 3D modeling is detailed enough.
still can't tell if the queen capture is accurate but the fact it went and installed blender itself is the whole point
Even the textures and lighting look good... Did chatgpt had access to other skills or something besides the Blender MCP to make all that?
