Way too much advocacy emphasis is placed on trying to pressure elected officials into agreeing to unpopular demands rather than thinking about how you actually persuade people of things.
If US gov't agencies like USAID are subsidizing preferred publishers like Politico, then I wonder what other agencies are buying their employees subscriptions to preferred womens' magazines. Or even supposedly "scientific" publications. 1/2
