Day 37. Still no movement on this Palisades permit. A sub 800 sq.ft. ADU pre-approved by both the state AND the city, on a flat lot. If it takes this long for something so simple, how are thousands supposed to rebuild after the fires? We need real accountability—enough with the red tape.

An optimist would say all the SFRs are getting higher priority ... more likely priority is with the mayor's political donators. Most likely is Hanlon's Razor. Learn from the best ... Rick knows pay-to-play ...although maybe it didn't work so he took at shot at Mayor Rick!

After Covid nothing has been done fast, I wouldn’t expect things to speed up even with the red tape removed. Saw how this worked in Malibu after those fires.
This is just the beginning . Karen Bass would have a better chance of building and launching a rocket then she does of getting the Byzantine empire that one has to navigate to their jobs. She’s in so far over her head.
