Has Sim City taught us nothing? You’re supposed to buffer the apartments with at least one block of commercial! Then it’s all fine.
As an industrial worker I would also like to walk/bike to work. ☺️
When I lived in Chicago, one of my favorite apartments had an awesome view of an old Art Deco power station. Mixed use neighborhoods are one of the charms of city life.
Hah I lived near here - got a flyer at my apartment with information about how to evacuate the block in the event of a crude oil incident which sounded carefully worded to not say “explosion”. It was delightful.
Great location for apartments though!
Take a good look at Houston! No zoning or urban planning. Building in the flood plains.
