1. The "pause" cost many innocent Ukrainian lives
2. The fact they can switch off support at will and condemn allies to such barbarity means they've lost the trust (and more importantly for them, arms sales) of Europe.

It seems that this pause was for Russia to retake Kursk and thus leave Ukraine with fewer "cards" in a future negotiation, but I'm afraid Ukraine should no longer trust U.S. intelligence.
