I think this is the right take on the lawsuit.
Words mean something because we choice to act like they do. choosing to act like those early promises were meaningless is simply that: a choice.
The rest of us should recognize and respond to the bait and switch.

A lot of people on OpenAI's side seem to be taking the view that non-profit status is meaningless and therefore donors shouldn't complain if they get scammed by non-profit leaders. Which I personally find kind of gross.
