Listening to talk about, among other things, China, and hearing him make the jolting but true observation that "Xi's China is the poorest group of Chinese people on the planet... I'm not so sanguine about how it's going."

Could you not say this about the diaspora of a lot of countries? Eg Indian immigrants v indians....many factors here
