The part I found interesting is that on Apple's own site for all the comparison charts they only allow you to compare it to the iPhone 15 or earlier, not the current iPhone 16.

The iphone is on the diminishing returns side of the innovation S-Curve. Only way out is to jump to a new S-curve… ie a worse performing but novel form factor emerges. I suspect AI-first personal assistant devices.
