I loved the scene and how they portrayed Jefferson just being tortured by someone else editing his words, yet knowing it was necessary.
It is a must watch for me every year. Excellent portrayals and historically relevant. I recommend buying the CD set.
re-watching it now as well. masterful casting across the board and a masterclass in storytelling in so many respects. (the book deserves a shout-out, too.) thank you for highlighting!
His portrayal of Jefferson made me long for a miniseries on Jefferson starring him.
