Biden said no to Netanyahu on several things, including mass displacement from Gaza and striking Iran. But there was a highly effective left-wing influence campaign to obscure this, which facilitated the election of Trump, who was far more amenable to all the things Biden wasn't.

Lots of people believe Biden never said no to Netanyahu and allowed him to do anything he wanted. However, according to @kenklippenstein's reporting, this isn't true: Biden did say no to one thing, the attack on Iran that Israel's now conducting. kenklippenstein.com/p/trump-secret

These Biden pressure campaigns on Netanyahu were often public and sustained. They were not a secret. I reported and tweeted on them at the time.

For those who haven't been following, the Biden anti-displacement campaign has been both public and private. Blinken met with Netanyahu yesterday. You can connect the dots.

Less than 2 weeks after October 7th Biden explicitly requested funds to ethnically cleanse Gaza, and in Nov. 2023 USAID employees were going around asking experts how hard it would be to arrange an ethnic cleansing to the Sinai followed by permanent arrangements elsewhere x.com/yair_rosenbergโ€ฆ

Did you even read your own link? That was a report about getting American citizens out of Gaza before the Israeli land invasion. There was some small early interest in creating shelter for refugees in the Sinai, but once the Israeli hard-right made clear they wanted to kick out
The Fuck are you talking about? Israel bombed Iran multiple times last year! Were you, like Biden, also sleeping most of the time during his presidency?
As all the reporting at the time found, after Iran fired hundreds of ballistic missiles at Israeli population centers, Biden exerted tremendous pressure on the Israelis to respond in the most limited possible fashion to avoid provoking a regional war, and each time, he succeeded.

This is not true. Dems were just delaying it โ€œUS is only reason we didnโ€™t attack Iranโ€ & Biden admin urged Israel to wait 4 โ€œKamala to win electionโ€ โ€”Israeli Rabbi Mizrachi โ€”Kamala: Iran โ€œis our biggest adversaryโ€ (wasnโ€™t even asked about Iran) โ€”Biden: Sent 40K troops to Iran

We knew this all along , there is even more but I dont wanna talk about the past, and yes we know exactly who are responsible for coup against Biden.
But Biden himself was holed up in his residence, drinking from sippy cups and unable to function more than a couple of hours per day according to recent reporting from Tapper et al. A small crew of leftists controlled the government for years.
Damn thatโ€™s crazy if Biden saying no to Israel was such a great and popular policy why was he saying this in October 2024?

Do you think Harris would have kept that same level of pushback? I was discussing it with some people the other day. I think she would have personally, along with Netanyahu feeling very emboldened with Trump in office
Biden also said invading Rafah was a โ€œred lineโ€. Remind me what he did to stop it?
โ€œThe same genocide but slowerโ€ isnโ€™t a good vote winner or place to start negotiations from
The Free Palestine people have been awfully quiet since January 20. The Democrats were unfairly blamed for these people's antics. They were Trump's best friends and helped elect him.
iโ€™m sorry we didnโ€™t give biden credit for doing whatever it is you are saying he did while still giving netanyahu unlimited weapons with which to do whatever he wanted
And democratic forces of Israel appealed to Biden all the time

I don't know the sources to that quoted paragraph but I remember last year the Bien administration said out loud that it wouldn't support war with Iran while they were going back and forth. I guess that wasn't clue enough.
There are almost no permeant structures left in Gaza. We arm them whenever they run low on munitions. We provide them diplomatic cover when specific atrocities break out into MSM. Biden, like Reagan(!) could have made the call at any time to end this. He did not.
Anyone who was paying attention knew this. That's why I don't gaf about what the pro-Pals are handwringing about now. Y'all chose to ignore the truth and just got brainwashed by Tiktok.
The thing is that he still funded and armed a genocide so like... that kinda overshadows this one hypothetically and ultimately futile good thing he did.
This about controlling the flow of energy to China and India. They had to push the Hamas until it retaliated, so they could crush Gaza. Now that the resistance is growing in the US, I have zero doubt they would carpet bomb our own to enrich the few.
BINGO. Biden held Netanyahu in check. He kept him from going completely off the deep end to keep us from going into a potential Middle Eastern war and MANY people on the far left in this country pushed DT, that OPENLY said he would back Net. in anything!
It is a well know fact that Biden tried to dissolve Netanyahu government as soon as 7/10 happened not a friend of victims as he wanted also to zelensky to flee Ukraine
Why donโ€™t you stop trying to smear the left and put your energy into stopping the war?
Biden didn't do anything without others telling him what to do. This might've been the Easter bunnies policy.
Think for a moment what Yair is saying here folks. There was literally a campaign by the far left to weaponize ppl's understandable unease over the siege of Gaza to weaken the Democrats so as to elect Donald Trump. And those folks may win the NYC Mayoral primary one week from
why would Biden hurt Iran when theyโ€™re working with the Chinese who tried to influence 2020 election in his favor and are funding higher education to become leftist factories you donโ€™t cut off the hand that feeds you

A big problem with the left is their continual delusion that " the Republicans can't possibly be worse than what the moderate Democratic President is doing." See 2000, when the Naderites were SURE that Al Gore couldn't be worse than a President GWB.
Are we really doing this, Yair? Trying to distinguish one warmonger/genocide facilitator from another? Youโ€™ve lost your way.
Biden allowed Netanyahu to get totally out of fucking control allowing breaches on every red line he supposedly madeโ€”so no. Biden has a lot of culpability here & yesโ€”obviously Trump is an easily bought cowardโ€”both are hugely responsible for this present situationโ€”on brink of WW4.
Yeah it took the best leftwing minds to notice that Biden did literally nothing besides talk behind closed doors.
Honestly, the pressure against โ€œmass displacementโ€ at the time was especially absurd and immoral. It meant forcing people to stay in a war zone and sufferโ€”just because it didnโ€™t sound good politically.
maybe biden shouldโ€™ve โ€œsaid noโ€ to the slaughtering a bunch of children part
Biden feared The Squad, and had to secure Michigan. They leveraged him. Trump didnโ€™t care about that. Itโ€™s simple politics.
Biden gave him the weapons, the intelligence, the cover at the international criminal court, cover at the UN. And Biden rewarded him by giving more weapons and cover and intelligence and aid even after they went into Rafah which Biden apparently said no to. Those are facts
The mass displacement out of Gaza hasnโ€™t been put into action and you know that. If anything before idf took over Gaza during Biden 100,000 left while barely anyone leaves now.
Youโ€™re a liar. Mass displacement occurred under Biden. He enthusiastically caused everything. Nothing was obscured, and Trump won because Harris ran her campaign to the right and abandoned the base. Who cares if Biden told Israel no on some things? Genocide is genocide.
One can be tempted to say FAFO, but leftists are just too stupid to learn. Plus, most are narcissists just performing virtue whoโ€™d rather keep losing so they can play martyr and congratulate themselves on their moral courage.
Biden was complicit in obvious genocide. The right test was clear and uncomplicated, and he chose to fail it. That's on him.
Israel struck Iran and the plans for mass displacement from Gaza were talked about openly in Israel under Biden.
We weren't mad because he didn't say "no," dumbfuck. We were mad because he said "no" less that Ronald fucking Reagan, you stupid sack of shit.
Isn't Biden the one that unfroze Irans bank accounts, allowed the gas to flow and allowed the pallets of cash from the United States to behave to be turned back on after Trump stoped that too? Didn't Iran tell Biden to fuck off they will spend taxpayer money as they see fit?
This is a sloppy attempt to rewrite history. This isn't Iraq, people can access the info. The Zionists are at best a client state, Biden could have cut them off. It's tacit agreement
Thatโ€™s an insane viewpoint. He kept sending him weapons to use against a captive population in Gaza! Against the direct orders of congress! Biden enabled Netanyahu at every turn, and then Kamala promised more of the sameโ€”we were all there!
Egypt was the only thing that restrained Israel. Pushing Palestinians into the Sinai would be the end of Camp David. Your precious country canโ€™t even handle Iran on its own. Egypt would be even worse.
The problem with center-left parties are that they take the left vote for granted. They dont give the left anything, because they believe they will get the left votes for free. In the end the left loose its loyalty or just stop voting. Some might even go to the far right.
Empty messaging that didn't seem to restrict Israeli behavior one iota. The Biden admin ACTIVELY enabled war crimes in violation of US law. This partisan revisionism doesn't work.
