Imagine if Golden Gate Park had even half the density surrounding it that Central Park does. The fact that it's surrounded by 2-3 story buildings is a shame. More people deserve to live near this beauty and easily could if the city government would let us cook!

People really fear having their neighborhood turned into Manhattan, when in reality we just want to turn it into Hoboken.
Hey I can see my old house! It's so boring out there too, like it doesn't really feel neighborhoody at all for the most part. Just a ghost town outside of the high streets.
It would also help with housing prices. If you could put 1000 people where 5 people live in nice areas like this the housing shortage would go away insanely quick. I know so many people that have moved out of Cali because of how insane prices are
It would also make sense to have some density around Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley. Central Park is about 840 acres and Mile Square Park is about 640 acres.
Both Fulton and Lincoln should be lined with mixed-use midrise buildings (dense residential + ground-floor retail).
