Damn. It's like there's a good reason to keep staffs able to communicate in multiple languages working. They might even be building trust, instead of starting from scratch when something happens..
Never in U.S. history has an administration been so corrupt and cruel … and at least three times as incompetent.
Once again: at 12:01 ET on 1/20/21, Americans should’ve looked at each other and marveled that we weren’t *all* dead. It should become a *daily* ritual in Trump II.

I'm all for shrinking our bloated and wasteful federal government, but Trump's 'pruning a rose bush with a machete' tactics are asinine.
While I'm pleased the workers got paid, how did Musk think that was saving money? Is he math challenged? Of course they got called back, they were the opposite of fraud and waste.
If it is was me I'd say, no thanks, I'd pick vegetables with people I can trust.

They should all demand a permanent salary increase & other job security provisions, as condition for their continued service.
So, Trump didn't want the messaging going out as opposed to his stated reasons, i.e., eliminate "waste, fraud, and abuse" bs claim.
I'm glad they were at least put on paid leave. However, what was the point pf this? The administration was saying they are laying people off to cut back on government, getting rid of the "waste & fraud". Instead, they're paying people but not letting them work?
