A government that treats energy as a "precious" commodity instead of providing energy in overwhelming abundance is a failed government. Energy is wealth.
Almost as if people prefer to lower the temperature in their rooms by turning on ACs rather than by "fighting climate change" - and be boiled alive in the meantime.

How do we buy air conditioners unless we lobby for government to make sweeping expansions of cooling equipment, with all the air conditioning factories the government owns. /s

They do understand that air conditioning is just a heat exchanger right? It removes existing heat from one space and displaces it to another
that this insane anti-air-conditioning campaigning is occurring in France, which happens to have a near zero emissions electric grid powered heavily by nuclear, sort of gives it away
