This is the environmental review for a 460-acre project with 6,000 homes. It started 36 years ago. If CEQA were in effect a hundred years ago, California’s population would be a fraction of the size it is today. This approach to development is fundamentally anti-American.

They still blocked 1/3 of it. In that blocked area, they allowed RVs, stolen ATMs, junk, human remains, etc. to be dumped because homeless people were not subject to rules for normal people.
How is making development contingent upon a review of environmental impacts “anti-American”? It’s actually the very essence of America. This particular project was approved/built 30 yrs ago. I can only dream of how much better CA would be today if CEQA had existed 100 years ago.
