You can't win union members (or anyone else) with narrow pandering, you need to take positions on big cultural issues that people agree with.

you have done a lot of writing on the point that Dems need to take more popular positions on cultural issues but have you done a piece that lays out the specific issues + the positions you’d want to see Dems take? Asking coz I can’t recall but would want to read it if you had
Oh wow Matt's recommendation is to treat immigrants and trans people worse. What a shocker. Gonna launch my own Substack where I write the same column twice a week for 5 years and be a millionaire.
turning a big dial that says "anti-semitism" on it and constantly looking back at the audience for approval like a contestant on the price is right.
I presume the irony you're getting at is that the pandering should be broad, not narrow?
you are a white nationalist that hates the concept of unions. why should anyone listen to you?
Could not disagree more. You win members by competent leadership that serves members' material interests. Taking stands on "big" issues, at best, makes happy those that were going to be members anyway, and at worst, alienates those on the fence.
In other words be a meek follower instead of being a leader.
Matt as a union member. Don’t talk about us or speak for us. Go back to grifting rich white liberals.
Another day, another egg-head article about Why Democrats Need To Be More Right Wing, from a guy who hates unions and union workers
Matt, your biggest problem is you have yet to realize that Progressivism is a religion, and you’re asking them to commit heresy.
They won’t do it. Can’t.
Biden was very "moderate" (put in quotes because Dems would be a right-wing party in any developed country) on immigration and crime. Didn't really do anything about guns either.
