you have done a lot of writing on the point that Dems need to take more popular positions on cultural issues but have you done a piece that lays out the specific issues + the positions you’d want to see Dems take? Asking coz I can’t recall but would want to read it if you had
Isn't that just a general strategy that doesn't really have anything to do with unions per se?
Supply and demand sets the price of everything except housing and working class labor. I'm not sure why they're an exception, but the experts tell me that's the case. Or maybe, just maybe, nativism is economically rational...

Could not disagree more. You win members by competent leadership that serves members' material interests. Taking stands on "big" issues, at best, makes happy those that were going to be members anyway, and at worst, alienates those on the fence.

Biden was very "moderate" (put in quotes because Dems would be a right-wing party in any developed country) on immigration and crime. Didn't really do anything about guns either.
