From 1953 to 2020, 10 of the last 11 recessions have been under Republican presidents.

There was also a recession under Biden if you follow the traditional definition of 2 consecutive quarters of shrinking GDP. The Fed decided not to officially declare it a recession that time because they said that other indicators remained strong.
And that one time it happened to a Democrat, we had the biggest red wave in history. Unreal
I am begging someone to find the Republicans "flashy thing" and dismantle it with DOGE like precision.

Props to Eisenhower who presided over 3 recessions, had like 50 heart attacks, got caught lying about the U-2 incident, let the Russians get ahead of us in the space race, let the Communists take control of Cuba, and still somehow left office as the most admired man in America.
It’s also important to mention that many of these recessions were caused by democratic admins, but they were voted out just before the recession happened, like the ‘53 one, the ‘69 one, or even the ‘81 one. The ones in ‘01 and ‘20 were pretty much unpreventable.

A recession is 2 quarters in a row with -GDP that's literally not a possible thing right now...
Biden did have that though, you seem to be leaving that out.
There wasnt a recession in 2020.... but there was one during Biden's years.

Presidents get too much credit and take too much blame. Congress has a lot of influence too. And Democrats have controlled Congress most of the 20th century.
