China continues its conquest of Bhutan, because, well, the world doesn't seem to care, so why not? The persistent lack of pushback from the international community against so many of Beijing's violations of international laws and norms is why now we have such a big problem.

QUESTION: If there was no NATO and there was a world alliance instead, would the current war had been avoided? Any country that supports (or are neutral) an invading country will be removed from the alliance and thus be vulnerable to attacks.

It is an International norm. Israel has set precedent. Settlers take Palestinian land and US okays it. Why would other countries not try and use the same 'rules based order'
