The building is great but they should have added some trees. All that concrete will make it excruciatingly hot.

As a brazilian, I know that this will probably not end well. The buildings are beautiful, but egyptians will pay a big price, not just in money.
What a sight! Egyptโ€™s new capital looks like it's straight out of Dune. This ambitious project is commendable โ€“ hopefully, it will drive sustainable growth and set new standards for urban development in MENA.

Apparently, there are no trees, greenery, or anything sustainable. It must be an extremely hot city and an enemy of the environment. Air conditioning is probably only available in enclosed spaces.
Exactly the kind of gigantic structure a Pharoah would build. Very impressive and intentional that the structural design reflects the bold stance of the government to better the lots of the Egyptians & signal their readiness to welcome developmental handshakes from world leaders.
The impressive thing about ancient Egyptian architecture is while a specific building might look like it was built by a lot of people, it still comes off as an idea conceived by a super mind for a specific purpose.

the megalithic architecture promoted by Paul and the Atreides Imperium, as a means to emphasize the religious cult of Muad'Dib, is said to be the biggest brutalist buildings ever made by man and its definitely a point of criticism that Paul himself comes to realize.
Somehow it is a mix of brutalism, art deco elements and classicism.. I do not like the classicism elements, they do not fit the clear lines smh..
