Relative to trend US obesity is down about 7 percentage points (~20%) among graduates (the group most likely to be using GLP-1 agonists like Ozempic). Incredible stuff. We may have passed peak obesity: ft.com/content/21bd0b

They also just announced a new initiative to study GLP-1 agonists in normal BMI populations, hoping to broaden the base and reduce heart disease and the catalog of things that seem to improve under treatment. Great news.

When Al Gore conceded, he didn't think he had lost. He didn't think it was fair. But the primary purpose of elections is for power to change hands without violence. So when the legal means to continue disappeared, he stopped, and did the right thing.
